Most of the helpful volunteers on duty have lived in Havre de Grace their whole lives and can provide you with plenty of information to make your stay enjoyable. The Havre de Grace Chamber of Commerce is the oldest Chamber in Harford County. It was formed in 1928 under the sponsorship of the Kiwanis Club. The Chamber was later incorporated and has now been in continuous existence for 80 years. Today it is an active organization with more than 270 members that can arrange grand openings and ribbon-cutting ceremonies. The City government is business and development friendly and works closely with the Chamber. The Executive Director welcomes your comments regarding any part of the Chamber operations.

Built in 1827, Concord Point Lighthouse is the oldest continuously operated lighthouse in the state of Maryland. It affords a spectacular view of the Chesapeake Bay. Across the street visit the newly restored Lightkeeper's House which offers a glimpse into the interesting story of Lighthouse Keeper John O'Neil, as well as the history of Havre de Grace's best known landmark. Special tours and weddings may be scheduled by calling 410-939-0768.

Located on the banks of the historic Susquehanna Flats, the Havre de Grace Decoy Museum houses one of the finest collections of working and decorative Chesapeake Bay decoys ever assembled. The museum was established in 1986 as a private, nonprofit institution existing to preserve the historical and cultural legacy of waterfowling and decoy making on the Chesapeake Bay. It houses displays of 1,200 decoys and decorative carvings by masters such as R. Madison Mitchell, Bob McGaw, and the Ward Brothers.

Situated where the Susquehanna River meets the Chesapeake Bay, this museum tells the story of this region's rich maritime heritage. Teaming with numerous species of flora and fauna, and having highly navigable waters, this unique environmental setting was the perfect backdrop for generations of inhabitants—from the earliest Native American inhabitants more than 10,000 years ago, to the first European colonists in the 1600s, to today’s thriving community of the 21st century. In addition to its nautical, historical, and environmental exhibits, the museum offers many educational programs.

This Web site supports the magazine that was launched in Spring 2006. Originally known as the Lockhouse to Lighthouse publication (with a Web site of the same name), it was published for more than eight years. As Havre de Grace changes and grows, the new publication, havredegrace Magazine, reflects those changes while still carrying the flavor and tone of the community.

The Lower Susquehanna Heritage Greenway is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to stimulate local economic activity by developing a linkage between our natural, historic, and cultural resources. This linkage is a series of land and water recreational trails that weave our past into our future while promoting an understanding and appreciation for the character of this region. The Skipjack Martha Lewis is one of the last remaining working dredge boats that make up the Chesapeake Bay oyster fleet. The Skipjack provides educational and themed sailing excursions for adults, children, and families. It offers public sightseeing cruises from June through October.

This museum tells the story of the Susquehanna and Tidewater Canal and the history of Havre de Grace and its environment. It also shows the pivot bridge over the canal lock as it operated in 1840. Tours include the Lock Tender's house (c.1840), Outlet Lock, Pivot Bridge, and Gift Shop.

This is a farm museum demonstrating the rural arts and crafts of the 1880–1920 time period and located on the site of a once-working Harford County farm. It has a working blacksmith shop and other exhibits. Memberships, special events, facility rentals, and educational programs are offered.
