Havre de Grace Main Street, Inc., will be conducting its fifth annual series of Haunted History and Ghost Tours through the historic downtown district beginning on September 3, 2010. Due to popular demand, the tours will be expanded to include the month of September and October.
A significant factor in Havre de Grace tours is that the history and murder stories are TRUE stories documented either by newspaper or local historians. And the ghost stories are first-hand accounts told to Main Street from the people who experienced them.
The guided walking tours will be conducted on Friday and Saturday evenings in September and October in addition to Sunday, October 31st. The tours are scheduled for 7:00 pm and 8:30 pm and last about 1½ hours. Private tours can be arranged for groups of at least 8 or more throughout the year. At each point of interest or historic house, the guide will stop and tell a related story of hauntings or bazaar occurrences which happened on that property either in the past or is still happening today.
Tickets are $12 each plus a small service for online purchase. $10 each for groups of ten or more.
Reservations are required.
Please note that the tours may not be appropriate for children of 8 years and younger.
