Scavenger Hunt
For all ages!
Now that the evenings are darker and a little cooler, we have organized a super fun Scavenger Hunt to keep your feet moving on Friday, November 6. This one is EASY so come and play! And there are fabulous gift baskets for the Grand Prize Winner and Runner Up. They will be filled with gifts and gift certificates from many of our local merchants. Some of those merchants are: Arts By the Bay Gallery, Biller’s Bikes, Blue Earth Leather, Chesapeake Cycle & Sport, Coakley's, Havre de Grace Office of Tourism, Rodgers House Tavern, Tidewater Grille, Washington Street Books and others.
To enter the hunt, come to the Havre de Grace Main Street table, which will be located at Jana’s Java, 217 North Washington Street. We will give you a list of clues (related to local history and hauntings) for which you have to hunt down the answers. But WAIT! We don’t mean hunt in the bushes or in your neighbor’s mailbox! And you don’t need your old hunting cap with the ear flaps! We will even tell you WHERE to find the answers! Each one of the merchants listed on the back of your list will have ONE answer. Then write your answers onto your list and return it to us at the Main Street Booth. Anyone who has answered all questions correctly is automatically entered into our Grand Prize Drawing at 8:30 p.m. (you need not be present to win).
SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE!
All of our unique merchants, restaurants, coffee shops, salons, and galleries will crank up their stereos so you can expect an eclectic assortment of music, they will be open late with specials and discounts, and rest assured that all our restaurants will have piping hot soups and delicious food to fuel you during your hunt.
DON’T MISS THIS CHANCE TO WIN BIG!!
Come out and PLAY!
